In Shlomi Presser's own words:
As a Christian criminal defense attorney, I am blessed with two characteristics: A love for God and a love for others. I am committed to furthering God’s kingdom through both my personal and professional life. One of the hallmarks of the Christian faith is that people deserve a second chance
Looking to the Bible for guidance on this issue, some cite Jesus, who was called upon to judge the woman caught “in the very act” of adultery, which was a capital offense. Instead, Jesus defended her
(John 8:1-11)…successfully. Jesus defended the accused woman who, it appears, was actually guilty of the wrongdoing! And Jesus charged her to thereafter “Go and sin no more” (John 8:11). Likewise, as a Christian criminal defense attorney representing a wrongdoing party, I can often work out a solution that is more beneficial to all rather than the administration of “blunt criminal justice.” Further, like Jesus did in the above example, a Christian criminal defense attorney may, in certain appropriate conditions, be able to minister to the spiritual needs and struggles of his or her client as well.
I stand alongside Wilton Manors criminal defendants, care for their well-being, and zealously represent their interests in a Wilton Manors court. More importantly, I do it with both passion and compassion. I want to be a blessing to people during this difficult season in their lives.
Some people find it odd when they hear that I am a criminal defense attorney and a Christian. “Isn’t that some sort of conflict of interest?” they ask. Well, the short answer is no. The State has the responsibility to see that justice is done. Criminal defense attorneys play a critical role in that process. We stand between the State and the defendant and require that the State prove its case, if it can, beyond a reasonable doubt. Criminal defense attorneys do not attempt to thwart justice; we welcome it. Without criminal defense attorneys, the criminal justice system would lack any integrity.
If you think you might need a Christian criminal defense attorney in Wilton Manors or anywhere in the South Florida area, give me a call. Find out why so many former clients thank God for putting me in their life during their tough season. I look forward to hearing from you and may you enjoy all of God’s blessings.
My favorite bible verses:
Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.
– I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
I John 4:4b – Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Psalm 37:33 – But the LORD will not let the wicked succeed or let the godly be condemned when they are put on trial.
Proverbs 31: 8-9 – Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and
